Yes. I haven't gone out in 2 weeks~ :|.

Looks like there may be some pickup in a few days, as the tide flattens out. High tide rocks :).

I haven't been out since last weekend and I'm going nuts. I'm definitely jonesing. The only time I can go out is during the 7' high tide. That does not rock so much. :p

Went out from prob 11:00AM - 01:00PM. Was good for the first hour. When I got there only two other guys were out.

Caught the wave of the day, a few 'obstacles' got in the way, but still a good catch :).

I'm thinking it was decent earlier on, and when I was looking at the cam around 10~ the waves looked good.

Low tide crept in fast.

I'm going to go earlier tmrw as I had lots of fun today.

I was out at the same time as you. If you had a beige longboard and got out by the stairs on your last one, that was a nice long ride!
Sorry if I was one of the obstacles today!

Ah, good to not be an obstacle.
I think you went out at the perfect time. Too much water early on.
I'm going out on the 26th and I can't decide to go really early or wait until 11 again.

Seems like today at 8:49AM high tide peaked at 7.08ft.

At 11:00AM it was around 5.2-5.4ft.
at 12:00PM it was around 3.8ft
at 1:00PM it's around 2ft.

Tues:

9:36AM - High tide peaks at 6.82ft.

At 7:00AM it's at 5ft and building.
And it hits 5ft again at 12PM.

So I'm wondering if it's best to go at twilight, or just get there around the same time as yesterday, or just hang out there for a good while.

Wed:

10:24 AM - High tide peaks at 6.36ft

Seems like anytime between 7AM-1/2PM would be good.

Then again, I could be way off course here. Glad to finally be back in the water.

Got to Campus around 8:45-9:00AM. Caught two fun waves. around 11:00AM the conditions started to become really poor. Bigger waves, but weird direction + very sloppy + messy.

Awesome guy out without a wetsuit!

I just got home from the annual Christmas Day walk with the family (and dog) and Hendry's Beach. There were a few guys out at The Pit, but like you said, very sloppy crossed-up conditions (from the Santa Anas), although the size is definitely growing... Tomorrow morning??

Fun when I arrived around 9 at CP. The fun lasted till about ten. Then the wind came and it got flat. Sat out in the water for a while. Left around 12.

Got back to my car and there was a parking ticket :|. Not pleased about that because lot was empty (and will remain empty for 2~ weeks) + it's break so all staff / faculty / students are gone.

Seems silly really, then again those ticket people are so ESTJ. I wonder if they get big $$$ paycheck bonuses for the amnt. of tickets they write.

Got to CP around 8 with a friend visiting from out of town. He borrowed my 9'0" and I took out a 7'6". It was a fun day for a shorter board. Lots of peaks early on. I switched to my longboard around 9:30 when he left, but the wind picked up a lot and it was just time to go. I left around 10, wanting for more. . .
I was wondering about the parking situation. I almost forgot to pay for hourly since it felt like a weekend. Sorry about your ticket.
Hoping for less wind in the early am. . .
