It's about time. I ordered and handed over the Skaters For Public Skatepark's and Foundation's "Devlopement Guide" booklet to Carp people that matter more than a year ago. I can't stand these little tight pant rats. I just want to see a park built so the Carp PD can get off their backs.
There's no reason Carp shouldn't have a park. They need to put the pipe down a little and make it happen. The booklet tells you how to successfully fight the city, fill out forms, etc.

Let me know if there's anything I can do. I'm a surf wax salesman, so anything other than monetary donations please. My 40 year old skate rat buddy Kent Dahlgren built Burnside and later started Skaters for Public Skate Parks. I think he's still on the board of the Tony Hawk Foundation. If you happen to come across any big problems, I can hit him up. It might even give him an excuse to come down here.
I think I dropped off that Guide at Rincon Designs. If you don't have it already, check with them. If you don't have it, order it. It'll make your life so much easier.

We went to a meeting and introduced the effort to the council members who seemed to welcome our effort. You can watch the meeting Wed at 7pm to see their reaction.

Maybe. Isn't he the dude from Dreamland? I don't know Red, but I've heard his name forever. There's a bunch of dudes that take credit for Burnside.
Update...Looks like Red was one of the dirtbag skaters that made it happen. I just went and grabbed a couple pics of KD's Facebook from. These are awesome.
