So true! It's all the elements put together. And that's what's fun about designing, get your idea, and then draw from your elements.
This is also a visionary board meaning, as soon as I saw those new RP blanks, an immediate creative vision popped into my head. I knew exactly what to shape. That's how a lot of my creativity happens - it just flows sometimes. I don't have to hmmm and haww scratching my head to get a design going or relying on a tried and true design of the past.
This board pictured, is actually part of a collection I'm doing for a one-man exhibit either in Honolulu, SB, or NYC. It'll most likely never see the water. It's a tie-in with my newly released CD, "My Hawaii".
But....I am making an fairly identical "sister" board without the color and signature, a real prototype that will see H2O.
And you hit the nail on the head "sake of the joyous ride" - yeah!!
