In addition to the win I am sure he is stoked that it guarantees he re-qualifies for one more year. Probably worth a million bucks and one more year on the dream tour!

maybe this'll pick him up a sponsor or two... Still can't believe no companies picked him up after he left reef... Dude is still a legitimate threat to anyone on tour, especially in left reefbreaks
With riders focusing so much on their own pro model boards, its amazing to watch Bobby win on borrowed boards all contest long. Amazing.

local fish wrap props our home boy...but can you believe, 4 asp vics-how many of the top 44 can claim even one[too soft fraternal organization side show verses two men in, one man out]-and no rag sponsor, etc...yeah, but they'll charge you $50+ for those boardshorts to cover those plastic card expense accts...good luck bobby, house of G...

I think Bobby's unique background in the surfing world is the source of his distaste for a sponsor. His background can be exploited and used as a marketing gimmick. He needs a sponsor that will focus on his surfing first and leave his lifestyle alone. That's what I would want. But I haven't asked Bobby so I am just guessing. Anyways he's a good guy that's fun to surf with and down to earth. I'm stoked for him.

He's good, he married his sponsor.
