Thank God for me my Dad made it, he was at Pearl Harbor, B-17 pilot at Hickam Field, saw the Arizona sink. It was because of his service that I got to spend so much time in the Islands, my first visit and first surf, Waikiki and Lanikea, was the 25th Reunion event for Pearl Harbor, 1966. Been back every year since. With a 2 year old daughter, on Memorial Day I pray for peace.
