the new issue of deep uses a pic of ryans shaping room to start an article on local shapers, but he is left out of the article. ? what gives?

i didn't have $$$ to run ads in the design section...they asked me to put 'em in but i couldn't really justify it, was pretty surprised to see that though, i had no idea it was gonna be there!!

that was weird. i got an email the night before it came out saying to invoice them for a shaping photo (which are all of ryan). when i flipped past it the next day i was confused, and seriously let down, to see no sign of Ryan aside from my photo of his shaping room.

the sad irony is that none of the shapers listed are even remotely as local, humble, youthful, or creative as our Surferguy800.
