1/12 not as big as predicted?

I had a nice session at Dev this am, but the waves weren't as big as I expected. Lots of peaks, but lots of close outs too. I got out, so who can complain? :)
I wonder if tomorrow will pick up size like predicted. . .
How was it where you were? I heard C Street was fun.

I was out at daybreak at Deveraux and surfed until 8am. It was fun with only a few people out. It was getting crowded when I got out of the water, but the waves were picking up and it was getting better.

sandspit was excelent around 2... there were only like 20 people out and it was atleast head-high on the average sets. it seems like the swells kinda dropping tho... i was out from 1 until 5:30 and around 4:30 things kinda started to drop down in size

I was surfing a point in goleta and there were some solid 8-10' sets coming through. Peaked early afternoon then died off, wasn't super consistent but nice waves in the sets.

you don't have to always rely on the coconut telegraph aka cams, cell phones, etc...remember just going for a cruise aka surf check because you had a feeling!

I know it is a late post, but I surfed devro from 12:30 to 4:30 on Saturday. Started out at the stairs, was head high, then moved up to the point. Sat way outside and caught so many waves I lost count! Sunday I was out from 7:30 to 12:30 sat way outside at the point and again caught almost every big set that rolled thru! I think those 2 days of surfing I must have caught 50-60 waves! Have'nt surfed since then, dying to go out!!!!

Did you go out twice that day? I heard it picked up after I left. Glad you caught it when it was good!

Yea, I went out at driftwoods, after I saw you suiting up at devro. Was about head high, pretty fun!! Liked devro better:)
