What are the odds of that after a huge rain?!? Anyway, I just got back an hour ago and the surf is looking delictable. Little peaks are starting to break about 30-40 yards out I'd say. I couldn't get a glimpse of the water quality, but yesterday morning I checked it and it was suprisingly clean. It looked as if someone had mixed a couple thousand gallons of bright green paint out in the lineup along the beach-side of the break giving it a greener than normal hue though, strange. I didn't see much water flowing out of the slough, so mabye that had something to do with it. Anyway, cheers and i'll see you out there tommorow!
Glad somebody's gotten wet recently.
I went to look at it today. Victory-at-sea, with a shot of espresso.

I drove around and looked at some spots and it all looked the same as that.
My son and I went down to our beach and we saw 1 guy out making the most of it.
I thought he was pretty optimistic, but he got barrelled while we were walking down. Wish I had a camera.

I was there again this morning, only just to check though. The wind was too gnarly for me to want to suit up. I did notice a neat little E windswell working though. Waves originating from the Rincon-C St. area would occasionally jack up against the W-SW peaks and break towards that point there by the Sandpiper golf course. Pretty cool.
Anyway, the water quality apperantly has gotten alot nastier since two mornings ago. I hope I didn't lead anyone the wrong way this morning.
A friend of mine found perfect conditions down South yesterday, in the North Santa Monica Bay no less. What a difference 90 miles makes.
