While we're at it, I'm just curious who the majority of the locals support to succeed George W. in the White House?
Hillary? Obama?? McCain???

Hillary or Obama. I used to be a city councilman in the NW and dealt with a the local lumber industry, power consortiums, DEQ, Forest Service and the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. I don't trust many today especially those that veil themselves in secrecy like this admin.
As a recreationalist I am more trusting of a democrat currently.

With so many candidates dropping out right now, its hard to say who I am going to vote for...
One thing is for sure, this election will make history.

Anyone see Mit Romney at his Long Beach rally, he had big longboard saying "Romney 08". No waves in Long Beach Mit. I think that putz Dana Rhorbacker gave it to him.

id give my vote to Obama, hillary less-so, but over most of the other choices...
anyone see the facebook poll aimed at young voters?
the question was, "what would get you to vote?"
the overwhelming majority (80-90%) said "online voting" would be what it takes to get younger people to the polls...
...I guess its not worth getting off your mom's couch and going down the street to vote for the president...its not like it matters THAT much, huh?
amazing.

That'd be funny if they did that. On line voting. I can just imagine some 15 year old hacker in Denmark breaking into the main frame. "And the next president of the United States is...Jessica Alba!!!!"

I wouldn't mind. We need to be the first nation to have a hot female president...:p
