Here's another animation.
I'm curious, do these look cool, or are they annoying?

I like them a lot. Are they hard to do?
These 2 sequences are especially cool because after a while of watching, you can't tell when one ends or begins.

I like them. I'd speed it up a tad...just a tad.

They're not too hard to do, just time-draining...

The next time I make one I'll slow it down by a half a sec per frame or so..
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it...

Who's the guy on the Blackbeauty? I think you had a great pic of him the last swell. I can't believe a good surfer would still ride one of those things. 80s design worked good in the eighties but there is a reason Al has evolved better shapes over the last 20 years. TC sure doesn't ride them anymore.

I'm not exactly sure who he is, but if it's the same guy (who always wears a hood), I've gotten a bunch of nice shots of him over the years on that board..

My buddy Clint Unander wears a hood most of the time and rides a black beauty and a yellow twinny, and is also out on his longboards when it's small. But that sequence is not him.

What's a black beauty? I thought it was a horse or a narcotic.

Thanks. I almost wonder if he just got a Blackbeauty glass job on a modern shape????

The board on the right, the one TC was riding to beat Occy for the World Title back in the 80's...

So "Black Beauty" is a term for the air brush?
So "Black Beauty" is a term for the air brush?
It's quite a bit more than that; the template/outline shape as well as the rails (hard & flat). They are always identifiable in the CI lineup with the wide black stripes on the deck..
O.k., this one's a little faster...

yes. looks like you strung three or so pics together to create the movie effect? and then you mentioned that it took some time using the program...am very interested in trying it out and wondered about the time involved? i am assuming that you must have a sequence captured on camera to then turn into a "flip movie"?

That's it. But the process is pretty complicated...
Here's the last one for a while.
