Thursdays, unfortunately, I can never get to the beach...
If he was in town today, you can bet he will be around this weekend.
If Sandspit is big enough, several pros will be there Saturday & Sunday...

yep... i have a fealing it will turn into a "pro party" again... today i was there from 2 until 5 and even with the high tide and unfavorable sideshore 25-30 knott winds a few perfect chest high waves managed to break. no signs of a croud today though, only one other person:cool:

Slater left right before I got there about 1:30. The Quicksilver grommet crew were just leaving. Brownie told me they came up from SD for the day and were there from the crack till I got there. Nothing perfect but real fun headhigh lines all afternoon. North wind until about 4 then offshore. Also turned into a warm nice afternoon. AS a photographer maybe you are happy about it but for me I heard the nightmare that Slater has a new girlfriend at UCSB and is considering buying around here. That's all we need at Rincon, another of the all time bests out all the time, add TC, Shaun owwww! He has to go to Australia soon but it sounds like he will be back.
