Morning session could be epic.

Radical tide swing, late morning - mid-afternoon best bet.

Whoa!

Bike race in Santa Ynez saturday....maybe afternoon late or sunday for me if not too worn out. Was out yesterday afternoon...freezing side-off winds....had to tuck in low or get blown back

I've been in the office since noon. Model now reading 8.4 feet 20 seconds, 290 degrees. How were the afternoon/evening sessions? Anybody??

sandspit seemed to be gaining size when i left around 4, but it was only waist on the biggest sets, and it was around mid tide... seemed like the period was stretching out by a few seconds and waves would have lined up quite nicely had it been low tide.

If the buoy data jumps significantly overnight, I'm going to shoot Sandspit from my boat, so keep an eye out for me!

Your call is spot-on. I know I'm dreamin'... :)

I think I'm gonna surf tomorrow and forget about shooting.

i dont know about that..... you dont get many days a year to shoot that spot, and i bet tomorow its gonna be almost epic, plus from what i hear a lot of pros have been in the area the past few weeks, and thats where a lot of them go;) but your guess is as good as mine!
