Only done a few boards with resin bands, this is the biggest one so far, and turned out insane...5'8 twinny, nice and simple; this ones gonna be a screamer

what's resin bands and what's the play...carp

resin band = the black stripe down the board; you could airbrush it on if you wanted to go easy, or use posca pens but all those old 60's logs with comp bands were done with resin...so its an oldschool retro-y thing.
just alot harder to do cleanly than paint, and it leaves a nice raised edge (you can see how high it is in the closeup photo).
