I remember on one of these Threads mention of a daughter, and a Shafer named on the team in the article today. Not too many Cabugus in town, is that Nick's daughter? Which one is yours? We have our first child, 11 months, Stella.

Hey Russell,
I've actually got twin seniors in high school - a boy and a girl at San Marcos. My daughter is on the Varsity Marquette squad, and my son Varsity water polo and swim teams.
My daughter is the hip-hop dancer in the middle here:

Congrats on parenthood!
I can't believe I've almost made it to 17 years of parenthood.
I'll be an "empty nester" next Fall when both head off to college.
More surf time for me... :)
Have you got Stella in the pool yet?

Classic, twins and a boy and girl to boot. My wife is jealous of Julia Roberts and others who pulled that off. Pretty cool that you have your 2 at your alma mater. I am looking forward to the whole experience. The first year has been great and as I've told a few, the fastest year of my life.

Time will fly so fast that it will blow your mind. Nothing make time pass by quicker than having children...
:)
By the way, I am pretty sure that is in fact Nick's daughter. Santa Barbara is still a small town...
