Had to go to Target to get the baby's new car seat for her first birthday. Surprised that swell on the buoys was not working. Con was tinsy and shitty. Everywhere else blown.

Today sucked unless you were harnessing wind power.

Happy Birthday to the babe Russell!

Anyone seen two kite surfers wrap their cables together? That must be an unholy mess. Oh, but I haven't experienced it, so maybe I'm not allowed to comment on that.

Went kiting at coal oil point on fri, sat, sun. Some of the best conditions I have seen yet this season. On sat the wind was filled well into the cove and just slightly offshore making for perfect lined up rides . The surf wasn't epic but there were some shoulder high sets out there. Got a bunch of waves I connected from the point almost down to the stairs. The best is when there are still surfers in the water and you carve a hundred foot bottom turn around them and hit the next section that they will never make. Its amazing how good the surf seems when you have a kite. When you make every section of every wave you get and can lay into turns with more power than the wave is giving you. It gives a whole new meaning to riding a surfboard.

I was out on Sat around 1-4 with a red kite.

Pics from coal oil pt. on a pre frontal SE day.

I bet C street was windy, I was riding a small 9m c kite and surfboard and it was perfect the whole weekend.

Longboarders, go to Devro

failed the 8 knot wind wall test in '80 and walked away from the bic and never looked back...but watching a sailor and their kite streak, loft to the point of flight and surf with cat reflexes, it's really something...flying trapeze
