I lucked out and had a nice session while the wind was down this morning. As I was leaving around 10:30, it started whipping again.

I checked it right now, looks very windy + blown out but there are still quite a few people out. I didn't bother staying long enough to see if anything was sneaking in through the wind, but didn't look good.

Good that you got some waves, how big was it?

This afternoon everything looked destroyed by the wind except the cove at the con. A little mushy but totally fun.nothing else even looked do-able.

Surfed in town (SB) this afternoon and it was offshore and about chest high. Freezing water!!!

The water at Goleta point was 51.4 this am.
A friend of mine caught a great wave on the outside that was just over his head. Mostly it seemed waist to chest high. It was pretty consistant with peaks all over.
That same friend said it right when he came off a great ride: "location, location, location"! If you were sitting in the right spot, there was a lot of fun to be had.

IV beachbreaks turned on this evening; chest to head high peaks everywhere serving up some tasty tubes to those that knew how to surf...

I got good (and cold) Ledbetter for a morning session, all the waves I could catch and only a few people out! cant beat that!
