as carpjaws layed sprawled out in his brier beneath the stars at night and looked to some far and away place, a new thread seaped into his feral mind..."what makes a magic board?"...what do you think?

A generally unpopular opinion at this site I believe but a computer shaped CI finished by Al. Tried and true at the Con and everywhere I have ridden them.

That one that you had back when you were a kid, the one that fell off of the roof of the car that got dinged up so badly, the one that you discarded but could never be replaced...

the one that you eyed and pondered over, wished for and [like a whole lot], then let go to a shop which it sat in the racks for 4 months....
And then after it didn't sell in those 4 months, you thought, "What the hell? I guess I'll just give it another shot since no one else will." First session, you realized, "THIS is a magic board!" And then you wondered why the hell you ever put it up for sale, and thanked the stars above it failed to sell.
I've had 3-4 magic boards in my life. The above describes 2 of them. Sometimes it just takes a little time away from those you adore to realize you love them.
