Thankyou so much for that. Davie and I go way back and I never realized his kids' talent - didn't put the name together ... takes after his pops though, the captain cook of aerials. Was with his pops at Jalama on one of the biggest ridable days this winter - round beginnig Feb. He was one of 4 guys (out of about 15) that rode what was available that day ... and by the way, he was on a 6'8" quad goin backside. 14' 20 seconds on a west swell - it was a sight.

Great video. It is cool to see Daves son shred like his pops. Does anyone remember when Dave worked at Baskin Robbins on upper state street?

Got to know him on the north shore in '86. Stayed with him and Thersa and a couple other characters right at Sunset. They paddled me out the keyhole at Sunset my first time out there, 8' island size and it would have drown me if a set had caught me ...
so I can thank him/them for my "welcome to the N.S." Been a good friend to surf with over the years.
I figure '86 was well after Baskin Robins.

But that was daze ago :o
