Raphael Wolfe and I have decided to put our collective skills together and build some interesting new boards; we're calling them Timberline.

they are built around an eco friendly foam core, and the wood used is a highly renewable type which grows about 10 ft a year...they are unreal looking and dont weigh much more than a regular board. These suckers should last a lifetime and are all treid and true shapes that I've built for people over the last three years.

we'll be building a bunch of these, longboards, fishes (quad and twins) and of course hulls.
here are the first few sneak shots for you guys; youll have to wait for the finished products.

That's a really cool project Ryan. We all know the old foam was toxic, but to only use highly renewable wood over the eco-friendly foam is awesome. I might just come to you for a fish in a few months

YES, YES, YES!!!

Wait a minute...

you were sarcastic about the camo thing, weren't you?

Okay, because of that I need to rethink my answer.

Okay, on second thought:

YES, YES, YES, YES!!!!

HAHAHAHAHA!

morning wood....maybe that should be the title of our blog!

weve been working away on a bunch more boards and been surfing the current ones, i had one of my best sessions ever on the 7' hull at el cap, i couldnt beleive the board.
then took a few waves on the 9'6; got a 15 yd noseride on my first wave...these things are stoke machines, seriously magic!

two more with photos soon, one going to japan for a PC customer of mine...its lookin good for us so far!

How about the name of your signature model (The Morning Wood)?

:P

Glad to hear things are going well. Let me know the next time you head out
for a surf. My housing will arrive later this week, and I am eager to begin
shooting from the water.

Just a thought... a really, really, really, freaking, warped thought. But still, just a thought.
