I took this Wednesday morning. I've seen more than a few pictures like this.
The fin was long gone this morning.

Don't know. It was there Wednesday at 10am with a nice looking fin. Thursday morning at 9:30 it was still there without the fin and by the time I got out of the water at 12, it was in the dumpster up the road. I see a broken board and I hope that the wave that guy caught before the last one was a good one.
I think I would break down and cry if I snapped mine.

That one looks like a Soft-top to me.

Those aren't made to handle heavy waves...

a girl on a soft top dropped in on me and knocked my rail this summer. I was very grateful that she wasn't on something harder. They have a place, I guess just not on overhead waves. . .

yeah... its basically a foam top board (doyle) with a sort of plastic bottom...
