Deckers is Back in SB - Santa Barbara Surfer

Hey Everyone,
I was 6 when I caught my first wave and stood up. I have been exploring the planet with one mission in mind ever since, to surf the best waves I could find! From Indo, Mex, Chile, Oz, you name it I have tried to get there. For the last 16 years my travels have all started and ended here in SB. My job at Deckers Outdoor has supported my surf travel obsession. In July Deckers Outdoor delivered me my ultimate dream job. I am getting to run the re-launch of the original Deckers Brand. Some of you might remember the Deckers Brand from back in the day. Deckers built bomber lifetime guarantee flip flops. I definitely still see some of the old salts sporting them at various SB surf check spots. Well now I am putting Deckers back in the game. Now all my surf travels are photo and video opportunities. I could not have dreamed of a sweeter job.

yeah, i think big red should get a pair of 'slaps', 'thongs', 'flip-flops' or 'sandals' [whatever your incarnation is called now] as a good neighborly gesture...he is a most influential member of our community...

Alex, you little sh#t. You've been reading my stuff. Man..."alex's reef" was spitting sunday morning, the Lt. and I where on the outside, catching some overhead bombs.

I'll take a pair of IV's size eleven please.

Really wasn't trying to spam...just thought some people on here would be interested in an old school surf brand that started in SB. We heard from all kinds of people around here asking where Deckers went, and we just want to get the word out among people that might remember them.

I am glad to see that Decker's is return to their roots -- what got them going way back when...
