Postmodern Surfer, hosted by Kilian Garland and directed by award-winning filmmaker Josh Pomer premiers this Saturday at 9:05 pm. Postmodern Surfer TV episode 4 of season 1,“Thanksgiving Episode” premier this Friday November 18th at 9:05 on Cox Cable channel 8 Santa Barbara. Postmodern Surfer TV is executive produced and directed by award winning film director Josh Pomer. Pomer produced over twenty surfing videos over the last twenty years. Most recently Pomer wrote and directed the award winning feature documentary, The Westsiders.
Postmodern Surfer TV episode 4, “The Thanksgiving Episode” features a mix of eclectic super-8 footage and high-definition surfing. Hosted by Volcom team riders Kilian Garland and Andrew Bennett episode 4 starts out with groovy super 8 footage of Bobby Martinez on a surf adventure with his friends. Also included is surfing from the last few months in California. Then we go to Mavericks on a fifty foot day and watch Chris Brown and friends ride score some of the best rides in the history of Mavericks. The show ends with a Kelly Slater tribute celebrating Slater’s 11th World Title win.
