Rideable Surf Difficult to Find in December

WIth the La NiƱa effects firmly entrenched, the Eastern Pacific has gone very quiet as far as “significant swell heights” go.  Daytime temps to 80 degrees and no rain and flat surf in December has been quite anomalous, and all of that is soon about to change as forecasters are calling for the so-called “Pineapple Express” to send intense Pacific storms through the coming weekend.  In the meantime, the hardest working man in the business (Da Lieb) and his crew have managed to find some fun beach break surf the past week or so.
