Christmas Eve Super Session

On Christmas Eve, I got up really early, and made the drive westward out to Abalone Reef.  When you can see the waves breaking in the predawn light from almost a mile away, you can bet that your in for something good.  I made the long walk out to the point, and I wasnt disapointed. T he set waves were a sold six to eight feet with offshore winds, and I was out there before sunrise!  The tide was almost perfect, and my crew of friends was already out there enjoying the same beautiful conditions!  Some of the surfers this day included, Kilian Garland, Dennis Rizzo, Jimmy Martinez, Lauren Anderson, and Chris Hertler.

I hope you enjoy this slide show as much as I did shooting this truly super session!
