Adolph Cornejo eyes last night's storm victim (a beached sailboat) as he cruises through Mission Creek. The conditions were perfect, so I suited up. Don't swallow the water, it's as bad as it gets. Adolph has been surfing this spot since the early 60's. We call it "The Pond", and the Chumash Indians called it U'LAM. Either way, it is a great spot when the conditions are right.
