While certainly not measuring up to all of the pre-swell forecast/hype, the swell did in fact build throughout the day, with set of 6’ to 8’ at Rincon by evening. Throughout most of the day there was a bump/some warble on it, and SE winds induced morning sickness not long after dawn. The early high tide dropped, and by late afternoon the pros were out in force at Rincon taking advantage of the world-class surf.
