I’ll never forget the first, late afternoon paddle out in ledgey, heavy waves with an heavy rain storm coming down.  Jumping off the boat into Fijian waters and paddling hard to keep your position while getting pelted with rain. It was unreal! Then the next morning I had one of the best sessions of my life, surfing one of the nicest lefts of my life.
