| Best Surfing Memory: | My dad taught me to surf when I was 7. He thought that if I was to grow up surfing Rincon I should be a regular foot. I was naturally a goofy foot and still skate that way. Surfing is the greatest thing in my life, and I cherish every wave that I catch or even see. Best surfing memory? Hmmmm… Paddling over a the first wave of a 20 waves set stacked to the horizon and everyone out (6 total) were hundreds of feet down the line inside. So I happily let 8 firing waves go under and pick the best one. This happened countless times at Scorpion Bay on a strong very late season south that we scored for a week. Some waves were too long to be surfed to whole way. Other than that I am an Architectural Illustrator for Peikert Group Architects in Santa Barbara. It’s the greatest job ever, they know I am always frothing for waves and are very flexible. Plus I love the work I do. I am also into Dj’ing and I am addicted to sub-bass. Standing against a huge stack of 24” thumping subs feels the same as air rushing past you from a spitting deep pit. Hanging with my Girl Exploring Inner worlds Extrapolating |
