| More about Trae Candy | Trae is a true dedicated longboarder and rides Wayne Rich Surfboards. He’s on the Dos Pueblos High School Surf Team, and is Vice President of the DP Surf Club. Trae placed 8th this year for Scholastic Surf Series LA to SB Longboard division, and is a member of the Santa Barbara County Surf Club. Trae surfs daily and trains weekly with Santa Barbara Seals under coach JP Garcia. He recently won first place at the “Call to the Wall” contest at Malibu, and he placed 4th overall for NSSA in the Gold Coast Explorer Longboard division for 2010—2011. Trae also enjoys performing community service—engaging in activities such as helping out with teaching U.S. Veterans, amputees, and autistic children to surf. Trae is sponsored by Hippy Tree, Maui Jim, Toga Beach, and Waxy Wax. Trae Candy is also Ambassador of Project Save Our Surf (PSOS). |
